SAN FRANCISCO—On December 13, the SFPD reported that 11 people have been arrested in connection to narcotics dealings in the region.

The SFPD reported on December 12, that officers made a total of 11 felony arrests while seizing narcotics during a one-day, multi-agency law enforcement operation in the Tenderloin District, surrounding areas and from search warrants.

“Our officers will continue to make arrests and hold individuals committing crimes accountable for their actions,” said Police Chief Bill Scott. “I truly appreciate our hard-working officers and our city partners for their commitment to this effort.”

The operation, which occurred throughout the day, was an enforcement operation that is part of San Francisco’s Drug Market Agency Coordination Center. Officers seized over 1,400 grams of narcotics including fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin, salt cocaine, and base cocaine.

Thursday’s operation included the San Francisco Sherriff’s Office, SFPD officers from the Narcotics Unit, Tenderloin Plainclothes Team, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and SFPD K-9 “Cooper.”

The SFPD thanked the San Franciso Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) who were instrumental in the investigation.
