SAN FRANCISCO—On April 9, the San Francisco Police Department disclosed that they along with the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office (SFSO) made 67 arrests during a Drug Market Agency Coordination Center (DMACC) joint operation around Tenderloin, Mission, and Southern Districts with a focus on fugitives with outstanding arrest warrants.

The one-day operation throughout the police districts was a part of DMACC’s ongoing efforts to disrupt narcotic sales and drug markets in the city. Of the 67 arrests made, 53 individuals had arrest warrants, including 15 executed by the Fugitive Recovery Enforcement Team. Officers located and seized a total of 3 ounces of narcotics as well as a firearm during the operation.

The operation included SFPD officers from the Fugitive Recovery Enforcement Team (FRET), the DMACC Enforcement Team, Narcotics Unit, Narcotics Drug Recognition Expert Team, Tenderloin Patrol, Tenderloin Violence Reduction Team, Tenderloin Plainclothes Team, Southern Station Patrol, Mission Plainclothes Team, Mission Station Patrol, Community Violence Reduction Team, Healthy Streets Operation Center (HSOC) and SFSO.
