HOLLYWOOD—Well, heartbreak struck the Cryer family once again, in this week’s episode of Tyler Perry’s “The Haves and the Have Nots.” In ‘Giving Candy To A Baby,’ Hanna started to piece together the puzzle involving her grandson, Candace and Quincy. She went to visit Candace, where she had a conversation with that nosy neighbor, Ms. Pearl who delivered news to Hanna that Quincy went into Candace’s home, but never came out. She got Hanna’s attention even more when she revealed that she has cameras and captured the thug on video.

When Hanna questioned her daughter about her grandson’s whereabouts, she got confirmation that Quincy Jr. is in the foster home of a pastor. Benny talked in circles when Hanna began to suspect that Candace may have murdered Quincy. Hanna could read through her son like a book, and he did his best to divert her attention to calm her nerves. Hanna, Quincy is DEAD, very DEAD!

Jeffrey and Landon were stunned to learn that Maggie was fatally shot, and to make matters worse, it happened in the presence of Veronica. Landon was certain Veronica had his boss murdered, just as Jeffrey found himself caught in the middle of a battle with an old friend who wanted nothing to do with him. Benny and Candace began to panic when it became a realization that Pearl has evidence that could get them locked up.

David was forced to repent to Jim after realizing that his old friend called off the hit on his wife Veronica. Jim was shocked to learn that Maggie was murdered and it was at the hands of Veronica. Jim warned David that his wife is quite dangerous, but David lied when Jim asked him if he slept with Maggie. Wow, why not deliver the truth David? What are you afraid of? These two are cordial right now, but once the news of Wyatt’s death hits Jim all hell between the Harrington and Cryer clans will emerge.

Katheryn was unnerved when she heard the phone ring in the middle of the night, worrying that something horrible may have happened to Wyatt. In the midst of that stress, she dialed Hanna to alert her she received the call that she feared most. This is heartbreaking to watch Katheryn grieve in so much anguish, and Hanna choose to call the number to get to the bottom of things for her old boss.

Hanna learned from the authorities that Wyatt is indeed dead; this is going to shatter this woman. Hanna became concerned when she searched for Benny who was nowhere to be found. Hanna was NOT pleased to see Benny in the company of Veronica. What the hell is this woman up to now? It became apparent that Benny was looking to ‘use’ Veronica like she ‘used’ him.

He wanted his fling to alert her husband to get his phones turned back on at his tow yard, and it looks like she was quite annoyed by Benny’s behavior. She did her best to belittle him, which only unnerved Benny a bit more. Seeing these lovers go toe-to-toe was one of the most hilarious things I’ve seen so far in the series! The final moments of the episode saw Hanna arrive at the Cryer mansion just as the authorities arrived, as Katheryn refused to open the door without knowing precisely what transpired.

Hanna was in shock to learn that Katheryn has lost yet another child, and that her boss wasn’t going to be able to take the news well. Katheryn was an emotional mess, as she realized the face from the past had come once again to deliver news that her son Wyatt has passed away. Oh, gosh that was a heartbreaking scene to watch, just gut-wrenching to say the least. I can only imagine what Jim will do when he learns the news. Oh, goody, I can’t wait to see what other drama and twists unfold next week. Until next ‘Temptation Tuesday’ “Haves and Have Nots” die-hards!
