WEST HOLLYWOOD—A dress estimated to be worth $150,000 was stolen from the hotel room of actress Lupita Nyong’o on Wednesday, February 25.

Nyong’o is known for her work in the Oscar-winning film “12 Years a Slave” as well as a number of critically-acclaimed Shakespearean productions. She is currently set to a play a part in the highly anticipated “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.”

The dress, a white Francisco Costa for Calvin Clein adorned with 6,000 pearls, was worn by Nyong’o at last weekend’s Academy Awards ceremony.

The investigation yielded little headway, as surveillance footage courtesy of the hotel was unsuccessful in capturing the suspect. According to TMZ, there was no camera pointed on the doorway to the burglarized hotel room.

Authorities have not made any arrests in the theft.
