SAN FRANCISCO—Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a shooting that occurred near the TJ Maxx Store on the 800 block of Harrison Street on June 25. The incident occurred at approximately 9:20 p.m. according to a press release from the SFPD website, where officers responded to a victim who had been shot.

The victim was shot in the groin after he chased the suspect who stole his cell phone. An ambulance was called to the scene to treat the victim’s injuries. Henry Smith, 29, of Oakland was taken into custody on July 2, without resistance near Leavenworth and Ellis Streets in the Tenderloin District. He was booked at the County Jail on attempted murder, robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
