SAN FRANCISCO—Officers from the San Francisco Police Department have arrested a suspect in connection to a homicide that transpired in the Northern District on August 19.
According to a press release from the SFPD, officers responded to a stabbing that took place in the Northern District on Larkin Street and Geary Street at 10:25 p.m. Upon arriving to the scene, officers found 41 year-old Scott Turner lying on the ground suffering from multiple stab wounds. Paramedics attempted to help Turner,. who later died from injuries he sustained after being transported to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.
After thorough investigation, police were able to identify and locate a suspect. Officers arrested Zachary Green, 22, of Daly City in the Tenderloin District. He was charged with murder and booked at San Francisco County Jail. Green’s photo will not be released at this time due to identification matters.
