SAN FRANCISCO—On Thursday, October 31, the San Francisco Police Department reported that an arrest has been made in connection to a Tenderloin District homicide.
On October 28, at approximately 1:07 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of O’Farrell Street on a report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim lying on the ground suffering from stab wounds. Officers rendered aid and paramedics arrived on scene to render aid and transport the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, where the victim was later pronounced deceased.
The SFPD Homicide Detail took over the investigation and identified and developed probable cause to arrest Reymundo Suarez-Gomez, 23.
On October 29, at approximately 12:45 p.m., SF Tenderloin plainclothes officers observed Suarez-Gomez walking in the area of Jones and Turk Streets and placed him under arrest without further incident. He was booked into San Francisco County Jail on the charges of homicide (187(a) PC), probation violation (1203.2(a) PC), and carrying a concealed dirk or dagger (21310 PC).
