SAN FRANCISCO—On March 12, the San Francisco Fire Department reported that they battled a one-alarm fire on the 500 block of 42nd Avenue.
The incident was reported on March 11 at 9:44 p.m. Firefighters arrived on the scene within minutes. It was an exterior fire impacting a two-story home.
Officials used thermal imaging tools to confirm that the fire had extended into the walls of the home. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire with no injuries or displacement. The cause of the first is believed to be accidental. There were no reports of any injuries during the fire.
