SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department indicated on Tuesday, January 1, that the suspect who sexually assaulted an elderly woman on Monday, December 31, 2018 was located and arrested. The name of the suspect has not yet been disclosed to the public.
According to the SFPD website, at approximately 12:36 p.m. a sexual assault of an elderly woman transpired on the 800 block of Pacific Avenue in the Central District. Authorities released photos of the suspect who was captured on camera.
While an arrest has been made, the SFPD is still investigating the case. Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact the SFPD Anonymous Tip Line at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the beginning of the message. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
