SAN FRANCISCO—On Tuesday, July 9 at around 4 p.m., a tourist on the 100 block of 34th Avenue (Legion of Honor) was struck by the burglary suspects’ vehicle after witnessing an auto robbery.

The victim started taking photos of the suspected burglars when he found them breaking into what he thought was his rental car. He was disrupted by a silver 4-door BMW accelerating in his direction. The suspect rammed into the victim, whose son was in his presence before fleeing the scene.

The victim, a 40-year-old father from Oregon, was sent to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital where he sustained life-threatening injuries. No details have been reported rather the victim’s son was injured during the incident.
