OAKLAND—The Golden State Warriors have set multiple three-point records in their last two games, the most recent coming in a 116-95 blowout of the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, November 9.

Golden State’s efficient shooting led them to an NBA record with four players making at least four three-point field goals each in the win. The record comes just one game after Warrior’s guard and reigning two-time MVP Steph Curry, made league history with 13 three-point field goals in a victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Klay Thompson managed to break out of a rare shooting slump, making his first seven shot attempts and scoring 18 of his 20 points in the first quarter alone. The Los Angeles native made four of his seven three-pointers after making just 11 of 53 to start the season.

“I feel [my shots] coming every game honestly,” Thompson said after the win. “I won’t let missed shots dictate how hard I play. As long as I play hard, I know I’ll be successful. It’s that simple.”

Kevin Durant led Golden State offensively with a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds. Draymond Green reached double figures as well, adding 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists.

Curry scored 24 points while going head-to-head with his younger brother, Seth Curry for most of the night. Seth managed to play well against his MVP older brother, scoring 10 points while adding 9 assists and a rebound in the loss.

Former Golden State Warrior Harrison Barnes scored 25 points and added 8 rebounds in his first meeting against the team that drafted him seventh overall in 2012. Barnes leads the Mavericks with 22.6 points per game as they fall to 2-6 on the season.

Golden State is now second place in the Western Conference following three consecutive victories. The Warriors will face the Denver Nuggets in their next game on Thursday, November 10.
