A string of murders have occurred in Chinatown

SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department is asking for the public’s help to capture the individual responsible for a string of home invasion robberies and burglaries in the Chinatown area.

The San Francisco News spoke with Sgt. Rich Jones from the SFPD Central Station Investigative Unit via email about the case. When asked about rather the suspect was working solo or with accomplices, Sgt. Jones indicated he was not able to discuss those details at the moment as the investigation is ongoing.

There have been at least three incidents. The first occurred on August 13 at 910 Clay Street, the second occurred on August 24 at the same residence on 910 Clay Street and the third incident occurred on August 28 at 44 Spofford.

Sgt. Jones noted that no weapons were reported during the incidents, but minor injuries were sustained in one of the incidents.
