SAN FRANCISCO—A hot prowl burglary took place in San Francisco’s Taraval District sometime between 3:00 p.m. on October 22 and 8:00 a.m. on October 23, the San Francisco Police Department announced in a Daily Recap.

The victim, who was home during the burglary, resides on the 2400 block of 43rd Avenue. He woke up to find a bicycle, a bicycle helmet, and a bicycle lock missing from his garage. The lock to his garage was broken.

The identity of the suspect(s) is unknown. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the SFPD. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
