SAN FRANCISCO—On Sunday, June 7 at approximately 8:37 a.m., a 3.6 magnitude quake shook the San Francisco Bay. The earthquake’s epicenter was in the East Bay and was estimated to be about 1-2 miles southwest of Alamo in Contra Costa County with a depth of about 9 miles.

Residents reported that the quake was felt from Vallejo to South Bay down to San Francisco, though there were not any injuries reported.

At 8:56 a.m., there was a minor 1.9 magnitude aftershock at the same location with a depth of 7.2 miles. After reviewing seismic data, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) concluded that there were no reported injuries or structural damage.
