SAN JOSE—On the evening of Thursday, September 25, 2025, a motorcycle and vehicle collision left a motorcyclist dead and a juvenile injured, according to KRON.
The San Jose Police Department reports that the accident took place around 8:05 p.m. at Branham Lane and Jarvis Avenue.
Authorities stated that the motorcyclist sustained major injuries in the crash. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where doctors later pronounced him dead. Officials have not yet released his name.
Police confirmed that a juvenile inside the vehicle involved in the collision also suffered injuries. Medical personnel transported the juvenile to a hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Police said both directions of Branham Lane from Robb Drive to Jarvis Avenue would remain closed for several hours to allow detectives to investigate.
