SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department arrested several suspects in connected to a string of strong-arm robberies in the Mission, Ingleside and Taraval District. The SFPD reported that in September 2018, the suspects robbed stores by forcefully opened cash registers, stealing cash. On some occasions, the suspect, would wait until the cash register was open and forcefully take the money. In one incident, the suspect robbed a person on the street utilizing a knife. Investigators received reports of incidents at the following locations:

-September 12, 2018 at 2:35 a.m.: 3900 block of 18th Street September 13, 2018 at 3:52 a.m.: 400 block of Castro Street

-September 13, 2018 at 6:26 a.m.: San Jose Avenue/Mt. Vernon September 13, 2018 at 8:10 a.m.: 600 block of Chenery

-September 14, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.: 3100 block of 24th Street September 22, 2018 at 6:20 a.m.: 600 block of Monterey Boulevard

-September 22, 2018 at 9:50 a.m.: 600 block or Persia Avenue

The San Francisco Police Department Robbery Unit started an investigation that led to the identity of the suspect and her co-conspirator. On September 20 at approximately 9:55 a.m., Angela Holmes-Singletary, 50, was arrested in San Francisco. On September 22, at approximately 2:15 p.m., officers arrested the primary suspect, Marquita Davis, 24, on the 400 block of Grafton Avenue in San Francisco.

Holmes – Singletary and Davis were booked at San Francisco County Jail on eight counts of robbery, aggravated assault and four counts of conspiracy. Due to pending identification matters, Davis’ booking photo is not being released at this time.
