WEST HOLLYWOOD—The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information on the driver that abandoned the scene after crashing a grey, four-door car into a West Hollywood apartment building on the 1100 block of North Laurel Avenue on Wednesday, July 29. Reports of the crash came in at 3 a.m. an LASD spokesperson told KTLA news.

The back half of the car stuck out of a wall in the apartment complex in a live-recorded video broadcast on KTLA news. The camera captured investigators and a sheriff’s vehicle containing the red-taped scene. There were no reports of serious injuries as a result of the collision. The LASD did not respond with any updates on the incident.
