San Anselmo, CA—A bicyclist suffered critical injuries in a hit-and-run incident Monday afternoon, January 20, 2025, leading to the arrest of a driver, according to KRON.
The Central Marin Police Authority reports that the accident took place around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Sir Francis Drake and San Francisco Boulevards.
Upon arrival, officers found that a vehicle had struck a bicyclist and fled the scene. The injured bicyclist was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Their current status remains unknown.
Investigators quickly identified the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run. The car was registered to an address in Mill Valley, where officers located it. After speaking with the vehicle’s owner, it was determined they had been driving at the time of the collision.
The driver was arrested and booked into the Marin County Jail on felony hit-and-run charges. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
