SAN FRANCISCO—Authorities from the San Francisco Police Department are looking for a gunman who shot and killed a man near the Crocker Amazon Playground and Sports Complex on March 28.
Receiving reports of shots fired, authorities responded to the area, a popular location for both youth and adult athletics. Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered a man that had sustained several gunshot wounds.
The man, who’s identity remains private, was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that claimed his life.
Police are asking for public help in searching for the shooter, who remains at large. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the the SFPD anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the beginning of the message.
