SAN FRANCISCO—On Saturday, December 15, an Uber driver in the Tenderloin District travelling down Larkin Street was robbed. The suspect, Dequan Taylor, 25, of Oakland opened the car door and snatched the driver’s $1,200 iPhone from the mount of the vehicle.
The suspect was involved in a foot chase with officers from the San Francisco Police Department which later ended in his arrest.
The iPhone was recovered and Taylor was booked on grand theft and resisting a police officer. A day after his arrest, Taylor who was released on OR failed to show up for his court case and a felony bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
