SAN FRANCISCO—A dog attack left an eight-month old baby hospitalized with head injuries on Wednesday, June 24.
Authorities responded to the 800 block of Masonic Avenue in response to an 8 a.m. 911 call reporting that a baby had been attacked by a mastiff mix. Both paramedics and law enforcement officers responded to the scene.
After their arrival, paramedics transported the wounded child to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that have been termed non-life threatening.
Details regarding the fate of the dog has not been made public. Immediately after the attack, the animal was locked in an isolated room of the house.
