Solano County, CA—On Sunday, March 23, 2025, a rollover crash on Interstate 80 resulted in one fatality and another person suffering serious injuries, according to KRON.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the accident occurred at 6:10 p.m. near Red Top Road, prompting an immediate response from CHP’s H-30 helicopter, which was already in the area.
The CHP reports that due to heavy traffic and the recent occurrence of the crash, ground EMS units struggled to arrive at the scene. The helicopter crew provided advanced life support to one individual with major injuries and airlifted them to a local trauma center.
Tragically, one of those involved in the crash was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released additional details or the identity of the deceased as the investigation continues.
