SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department responded to a fatal stabbing at Bernal Heights Park, on Thursday, May 25. The police was notified by a passing jogger in the park who discovered the body of a man, who was fatally wounded from the stabbing. The jogger contacted the police at around 5:30 a.m., who arrived on the crime scene shortly.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim dead, who had multiple stab wounds to his body. The name of the victim has not yet been disclosed to the public. The SFPD’s homicide division launched an investigation to look for potential suspects. Bernal Heights Park was temporarily closed as the police searched the premises.
