SAN FRANCISCO—On Wednesday, December 11, the San Francisco Police Department reported that on Wednesday, December 4, members assigned to the San Francisco Narcotics Unit along with San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, and the United States Army National Guard conducted a search warrant service on a known wanted federal fugitive, Fernando Hernandez, who was believed to be selling narcotics in the city and county of San Francisco.

The Narcotics Unit officers developed probable cause to obtain a search warrant for Hernandez, including vehicles and premises located in Oakland, California that were associated with Hernandez.

At approximately 9:45 p.m., officers positioned themselves near the area of Church Street in Oakland. Hernandez exited the premises and was detained in the area of Arthur Avenue and 68th Avenue by officers without further incident.

With the help of Officer Montero and K9 Copper, the Narcotics unit conducted a search of the premise located on Church Street in Oakland where they located and seized approximately five kilograms of suspected Fentanyl, two press machines, over 10,000 dollars in US currency and narcotics manufacturing equipment.
