MALIBU—On Friday, February 13, actor, Gary Busey, hit a pedestrian while backing out of a parking stall of a Pavilions grocery store located off the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

At around 3:00 p.m., the 70-year-old “The Buddy Holly Story” actor reportedly struck an unidentified woman, who fell to the ground. Paramedics arrived and treated the woman at the scene. She left soon after with only minor injuries.

This is the second Malibu accident in a week involving a celebrity on Pacific Coast Highway. On February 7, Olympian and TV personality, Bruce Jenner, was involved in a PCH collision in Malibu that claimed the life of a 69-year-old Calabasas woman, Kim Howe.

Lt. Anthony Rotella of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated that Busey was not cited and there was no evidence of alcohol or illegal substances.
