LOS ANGELES—Friday, September 27 marked the start of the final Giants-Dodgers games of the 2019 season. This season also marks the end of Giants Manager Brue Bochy term with the Bay area franchise. The prolific manager has led the Giants to three World Series pennants in 2010, 2012 and 2014 during his time with the organization. Bochy, or ‘Boch’ as he’s remembered by most San Francisco fans made his announcement in February, ending his 12 years with the storied franchise.

The Dodgers won the NL West division on September 10 and will be the first seed in post season action in October. This makes the Dodgers seventh consecutive divison title, as the Los Angeles franchise quest to capture their first World Series Pennant in over 30 years.

The Dodgers won the first match-up in the series on Friday night with a final score of 9-2. Dodgers First Basemen Cody Bellinger had the highlight of the night with a home run for the Dodgers at the top of the second inning to put his team up early. The second inning home runs makes Bellinger’s 47th on the season. Tune in to the final games in the series is on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and Sunday at 12:05 p.m. PST.
