SAN FRANCISCO—Officials from the San Francisco Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested Gilbert Francisco, 41, of San Francisco in connection to the distribution of child pornography. The SFPD reported that they started an investigation against Francisco in November 2017, who was uploading and trading graphic child pornography via the internet.
On December 14, a search warrant was served at a residence on the 100 block of Curtis Street in SF. During the search investigators found a computer belonging to Francisco where thousands of child pornography videos and images were stored.
He was arrested and booked at the San Francisco County Jail for possession of child pornography, possession of over 600 files of child pornography and three counts of distribution of child pornography.
The SFPD is asking anyone who may have been a victim or had suspicious contact with Gilbert Francisco to contact the Special Victims Unit (415) 558-5500.
