SAN FRANCISCO—Presidential candidate Joe Biden visited the Bay Area last week to partack in campaign fundraisers. The former Vice President’s first event was a luncheon at Evviva-Estiatorio in Palo Alto and the second event was held at Senator Diane Feinstein’s home in for a fundraising dinner. Both event were held on Thursday, October 3.

Biden did not host any public campaign events, instead he spent most of his time attending private fundraisers throughout the region. The cost to attend these events ranged from $1,000 to $10,000 per ticket. Individuals interested in donating can visit his official website and click on the link “Rapid Response Fund.”

The link to the fund has a statement that reads:

“Donald Trump is launching a $1 MILLION ad blitz against us. If we are going to be able to respond, we need every committed Democrat to step up and donate.”

Biden did not mention the Trump campaign during his visit to the Bay Area or address any comments involving impeachment inquires into  President Donald Trump.
