SAN FRANCISCO—On Wednesday, August 19, a man was killed after a shooting in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood.

The San Francisco Police Department responded to a report about a shooting in the 800 block of O’Farrell Street, across from Larkin Street at 1:20 a.m. Upon arriving on the scene, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound laying on the sidewalk.

The SF Examiner reported the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities noted the man was in his 40s. No details on the victim’s identity has been disclosed to the public.  The suspect fled the scene after the shooting. No arrests have been made in the case.
