HOLLYWOOD—I predicted last week that the Disney flick “Moana” was going to hold onto the top spot at the box-office. The animated flick clocked in first place adding another $28.4 million to its tally. In less than 10 days, the flick has already crossed the $100 million mark at the domestic box-office.

Landing in second place is “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” with another $18.5 million. The fantasy flick is just a few million from crossing the $200 million mark at the domestic box-office.

The alien drama “Arrival” continues to pique the interest of moviegoers to land in third place with $7.3 million. The Amy Adams starrer has now earned over $73 million. Nabbing fourth place was the Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard thriller “Allied” with another $7 million. Rounding out the top five was the superhero flick “Doctor Strange” with $6.5 million. The film has now earned over $215 million at the domestic box-office.

The horror flick “Incarnate” debuted to dismal numbers with only $2.7 million. This weekend sees the release of the Jessica Chastain thriller “Miss Sloane” and the comedy “Office Christmas Party” starring Jennifer Aniston. There is a possible battle for number 1 between “Office Christmas Party” and “Moana.”
