SAN FRANCISCO—At about 3:33 a.m. on Tuesday, October 23, the San Francisco Fire Department responded to a house fire at 1310 Funston Street. One female adult was reported dead and one male was transported to the hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.  

According to a post on the Facebook page of the SFFD, the fire was reportedly contained at 4:08 a.m. About six people from the building, located in the Inner Sunset District, were displaced including 1 child. The Red Cross and City Services are currently assisting those individuals.  

The SFFD is currently investigating what caused the fire.
