SAN FRANCISCO—On Wednesday, March 27, the San Francisco Police Department announced that the reward for information related to a 2022 homicide has been doubled to $250,000.

On Sunday, April 3, 2022, in the afternoon hours, a shooting transpired in the area of Alice Chalmers Park where at least two suspects opened fire on a group of males resulting in the murder of Kieran Carlson and Brandon Alexander Cheese, and the wounding of two other males.

The SFPD reported that in March 2024, the SFPD authorized a $250,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of the two victims. A crime bulletin announcing this reward is attached to this new release.

April 3, 2024, will mark the second anniversary of the murders of Carlson and Cheese.
