President Donald Trump is expected to sign the border security bill that the U.S. Senate approved.

“President Trump will sign the government funding bill, and as he has stated before, he will also take other executive action—including a national emergency—to ensure we stop the national security and humanitarian crisis at the border. The President is once again delivering on his promise to build the wall, protect the border, and secure our great country,” said White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

The White House told Tucker Carlson it can tap into an additional $8 billion for a wall if a National Emergency is declared. A formal statement is expected on Friday, February 15.
