SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department honored Sergeants Jones, Hennessey-Jones, Mellone and Officer Yee were honored on Tuesday, February 12 in receiving this year’s Emergency Services Day Award from the San Francisco Rotary Club.

This year served as the 33rd annual Emergency Services Day, a day to solute first responders who have demonstrated exceptional acts of character, compassion for their community, and commitment to their profession, according to the SF Rotary Club.

Dep. Barry Bloom was also honored for saving multiple lives of individuals who overdosed last year. Retired Sr. Dep. and Pastor Clarence Lewis were also honored for his career in serving others.
