SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Fire Department battled a one-alarm blaze at 383 Paris Street on Monday, May 19. A 911 caller reported an unconfirmed incident at 383 Paris St. at 7:42 a.m.
Firefighters were addressing active flames inside cabinets and attic space, continuing efforts to control the fire. Firefighters cut open the roof to better access and extinguish the flames.
The SFFD completed a primary search on the second floor, confirming it is all clear, while smoke is still visible from the roof.
Firefighters also battled a one-alarm fire on 26th St and Castro on May 19. A single building setback from the street behind trees was fully involved.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and contained it to one building. Three people were displaced and unfortunately two dogs perished in the fire. The cause of fire is still under investigation at this time.
