SAN FRANCISCO—On Monday, April 28, the San Francisco Fire Department and the @USCGPACAREA located an unoccupied small dingy (small boat) in the San Francisco Bay off Emarcadero North with two fishing poles deployed.
The SFFD noted on Facebook that as a sign of caution, a search and rescue operation was launched with SFPD rescue boats, @USCGPACAREA rescue boats, and helicopters. Anyone with information related to the unoccupied dingy boat or the occupants are asked to call 911.
The SFFD concluded their search for POSSIBLE occupants of an unoccupied six foot unnamed dingy (small boat). No victims were located during the incident.
