SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department announced on Monday, January 13, that its K9 Carlow has passed.

He started with the police department in 2012. Over the last 12 years, he was involved in hundreds of narcotics and money investigations throughout the state of California. He participated in money seizures that totaled close to $4,000,000. He also did several demonstrations at schools around the Bay Area, in helping to entertain students.

“In his off time, Carlow loved trips to Lake Tahoe, swimming in the Truckee River, romping in the snow, and getting filthy on the beach. He brought a smile to everyone that met him. May you forever rest in peace, Carlow. You will never be forgotten,” the SFPD stated in the Facebook post.
