SAN FRANCISCO—On June 15, police arrested and took into custody 25-year-old Charles Gardner and 3-year-old Terrance Webb. Both were arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old male, whose name has not yet been disclosed to the public.

On June 5, San Francisco Police Department officers were on patrol in the area of 6th and Folsom Streets at 2:06 a.m. Officers heard gunshots in the area and saw people leaving the The EndUp nightclub, located on the 400 block of 6th Street. According to a press release from the SFPD, their homicide department began an investigation that led to the identification of Gardner and Webb with probable cause to arrest. Homicide investigators with the assistance of the SFPD Tactical Unit served Gardner a search warrant on the unit block of Dedman Court. Webb was taken into custody at his residence in Hayward.

Gardner was booked at the San Francisco County Jail for suspicion of homicide, carrying a concealed weapon and being a member of a street gang. Webb was booked at the county jail on the charges of suspicion of homicide and being a member of a street gang. According to the SF Examiner, both men are being held on a $5 million bail.

The SF Examiner spoke to Assistant District Attorney Eric Fleming who indicated that the killing is believed to have been linked to a gang conflict. Webb has prior federal gang convictions and Gardner is from Hunters Point.
