SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department are investigating a stabbing that transpired at Mission Dolores Park on Wednesday, May 17. A 23-year-old man was attacked by several juveniles, who chased him around the park, beating him with golf clubs and bottles before stabbing him multiple times. The group fled the scene after stabbing the victim.

According to reports, officers stationed near 18th and 20th Street received the news of the stabbing from a witness and arrived on scene.

The victim was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition, suffering from several life-threatening stab wounds. The event took place during the daytime and in full view of various park-goers present at the time, who called 911.

No arrest has been made in the case, but authorities are looking for five suspects in their late teens and early 20s, NBC Bay Area news reported.
