SAN FRANCISCO—On November 11, a 90-year-old woman was crossing the street at the intersection of Diamond Heights Boulevard and Duncan Street, when she was struck by a motorcycle, according to a press release from the San Francisco Police Department.

A call regarding the hit-and-run collision came in at 3:12 p.m., and the SFPD indicated that officers from the Ingleside Station responded to the scene

Preliminary information indicates that the motorcycle struck the woman and fled the scene. Upon arrival, authorities transported the elderly woman to a local hospital for “life-threatening injuries,” according to the press release.

The San Francisco Police Department noted they need residents and business owners in the area to check their surveillance camera systems and contact the authorities if they have any possible images of the motorcycle that the suspect was driving. Investigators from the SFPD Traffic Collision Investigation Unit (TCIU) are looking for video surveillance, witnesses or other details that can assist with the identification of the suspect and the vehicle involved in the incident.
