SAN FRANCISCO—On Tuesday, December 2, the National Weather Service declared an urban small stream flood advisory across the entire Bay Area.

Numerous lightning strikes have taken place of shore near the Bay Area, with a possibility that the strikes will creep inland. A high wind advisory has been issued for the Bay Bridge and the San Mateo Bridge.

As the storm continues, many freeways, city streets and cars were flooded Wednesday morning. It resulted in multiple vehicles being trapped in deep water next to the southbound off-ramp of Caesar Chavez Highway (101).

With the storm expected to carry-on well into the weekend, residents are advised to take extra precautions when dealing with the elements.
