SAN FRANCISCO—Officers from the San Francisco Police Department have arrested a person in connected to the January 29 murder of Justin Willis in the Bayview District. Willis was fatally shot on the 1600 block of Armstrong Avenue. Upon arrival on the scene at 12:38 p.m., authorities found Willis lying on the ground suffering from several gunshot wounds.

Paramedics from the San Francisco Fire Department provided aid, but the victim died from his injuries at San Francisco General Hospital. According to a press release from the SFPD, Homicide Investigators commenced an investigation that led to the identity of the suspects.

On Thursday, April 27, at approximately 5:02 a.m., SFPD Homicide, Special Investigations, and Gang Task Force Investigators responded to the unit block of N. Idaho Street in San Mateo. With assistance from the San Mateo County North Central Regional (NCR) SWAT Team, they located and arrested Berjon Jackson, 20, of San Francisco and Nakida Lampkins, 19, of San Mateo.

After interviews with Homicide Investigators, Jackson was charged with murder, while Lampkins was charged with being an accessory to the crime. Jackson and Lampkins were both booked at the San Francisco County Jail. Due to pending identification matters, the subjects’ photos will not be released at this time.
