SAN FRANCISCO—On August 29, 2025, the San Francisco Police Department announced that two suspects were arrested connected to a 2023 Bayview District murder.
On August 11, 2023, officers assigned to Bayview Station responded to the 1900 block of Keith Street on a report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and found a male lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers provided aid, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Paramedics arrived on scene and transported the victim suffering from life-threatening injuries to a local hospital where he died from his injuries on October 8, 2023, due to health complications from the shooting.
The SFPD Homicide Detail took over the investigation, and the investigators obtained evidence to determine the identity of the homicide suspects as Teangelo Harrison, 22, and Tommy Thompson, 28.
On August 28, 2025, at approximately 7:20 a.m., SFPD investigators, with the help of the SFPD Tactical Unit, located Thompson and placed him under arrest without further incident. Thompson was transported to San Francisco County Jail and booked for homicide (187(a) PC). Harrison was already in custody for an unrelated incident and booked for homicide (187(a) PC).
