SAN FRANCISCO—A 15-year-old boy was beaten and transported to a local hospital after an altercation broke out between the victim and 18 other men near the 101 Highway overpass between the San Bruno and Silver Avenues.

San Francisco Police Department Spokesman Carlos Manfredi reported that the attack occurred on Friday November, November 4 at approximately 10 p.m. The victim was on the sidewalk when he allegedly spun a soccer ball in front a group of older mens’ faces. The men, between the ages of 25-35 began “punching and kicking” the 15-year-old Manfredi stated to KPIX-TV.

The teenager loss consciousness and was taken to the hospital by paramedics. According to reports, the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not yet made any arrests in the attack.
