Toddler Located After Hunt For Burglars

SAN FRANCISCO—Following the arrest of a pair of burglary suspects in San Francisco’s Noe Valley neighborhood, authorities located a toddler they believe is related to the suspects.

San Francisco police officers first responded to reports of a burglary on the 100 block of 27th Street. The call came in from witnesses who heard strange noises and trespassers running through a building under private construction.

One of the suspects attempted to evade police by running along the rooftops of adjoining buildings, but wounded himself in the process. The suspect was eventually apprehended by a U.S. Park Police dog.

The robbery took place at a Noe Valley construction site.

The second suspect was apprehended by police while attempting to flee the construction site.

A four-year-old boy, possibly related to the two men was located by authorities. No other suspects were discovered during the investigation.

The toddler was taken to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment. Information about the boy’s condition, including exactly where police discovered him, has not yet been made public.
