BEVERLY HILLS—Actress Jaime King’s Mercedes Benz was damaged in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, April 4, when a transient attacked her vehicle. King was in the area with her 4 year-old son, James, and a friend at the time the attack occurred.

The suspect who TMZ identified as Paul Francis Floyd, 47, was on a skateboard before he jumped onto the windshield of the car and smashed it, while King’s son and friend were inside. The child was hit with the glass during the incident. King was not inside the vehicle at the time the incident transpired. King’s friend who was inside the car with the child during the incident, exited the car to confront the suspect, who threw a can at her that made contact with her arm.

People magazine indicated in a press release they received from the Beverly Hills Police Department that King’s son was secured inside a car seat in the back seat at the time of the incident. No details have been released on the condition of Jaime’s son or her friend.

Floyd was arrested by authorities for felony child endangerment, misdemeanor battery and two counts of felony vandalism. According to reports, his bail was set at $100,000 and he is expected in court on Friday, April 6. King is known for her role on the CW series “Hart of Dixie.” She also starred in the films “My Bloody Valentine,” “Mother’s Day,” “Sin City” and “Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.”
