SAN FRANCISCO—The Alameda County Medical Examiner has identified one of the passengers of a fatal car crash on the Bay Area Bridge. Juhmoni Thompson Crain, of Hayward, was pronounced dead on Wednesday, May 29, at the scene of the crash. The other two passengers among the box truck were rushed to the hospital to be treated for serious injuries they sustained.

At around 4:30 am, a box truck carrying Crain and two others receiving medical attention crashed into a Golden Gate Transit District bus leaving the MacArthur BART Station in Oakland. The bus was traveling towards the Transbay Transit Center in San Francisco.

The impact of the collision caused the box truck to tip over onto its side. The crash delayed traffic in the region for several hours. Multiple lanes on the bridge were temporarily closed until officials completed their investigation and cleared debris from the road. Two passengers on the bus were also injured and transported to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
