BEVERLY HILLS—My name is ”Emily”, and I’m a little four-month-old kitten.  Actually, I’m not very little, as I have kind of a long and lanky body. It’s too bad that my whole body doesn’t show in this picture, because my markings are quite unusual.  I’m white with black splotches here and there.  It looks like someone splashed black paint on me! However, in an artistic way.  Kind of like the style of painting by Picasso in his cubism period.  Well, maybe. Or maybe not.

I’m a laid back kind of girl.  And, do you know what I like?  Well, I don’t think that you’ll ever guess, so I’ll tell you.  I love to have my cheeks rubbed!  Yes, I do!  Then when I look at you, my eyes will say “thank you”, and that will put a big smile on your face!  I promise!

So, won’t you come in to see me?  You’ll be able to see my unusual markings, and, it would be ever so nice if you’d rub my cheeks for a little while.  And, as the saying goes,”It is impossible to keep a straight face in the presence of one or more kittens.” (Cynthia E. Varnado)  So, how about having me in your life to keep a smile on your face?  I sure would love that.  Wouldn’t you?
