SAN FRANCISCO—A man responsible for multiple burglaries and robberies in the Chinatown and Japantown areas has been arrested. Officers from the San Francisco Police Department have arrested German Woods, 57, of San Francisco in connection to the crimes.

According to a press release from the SFPD website, the suspect was targeting members of the Asian community who were elderly. It is suspected that Woods had been committing the crimes as far back as April. He was booked at the San Francisco County jail on multiple robbery, burglary and elder abuse charges. Woods was also booked on an outstanding warrant for similar charges.
