SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department has arrested a man connected to a homicide that took place on June 13 at around 9:15 a.m. in the Mission District. According to a press release from the SFPD  website, Dominic Anderson, 25, was shot near 15th and Mission Streets, by Justin Howard, 25. 

Officers arrived on the scene and transported the victim to San Francisco General Hospital where he died from injuries he sustained. Officials from the Homicide Unit in the Major Crimes Division worked to identify Howard as the suspect in the case. He was apprehended by officers from the SFPD on July 9 at his girlfriend’s home in Richmond, CA.

The homicide is still under investigation by authorities who are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the SFPD. It can be done anonymously at 415-575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.
